Chiang Mai, Thailand – June 17th – 18th 2018, Flight of the Gibbon recently welcomed Suksasongkroh school, based in Mae Rim Chiang Mai to participate in our world famous Zipline canopy tour free of charge as part of our commitment to helping the lives of underprivileged children throughout Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. Suksasongkroh school was founded in 1976 and teach underprivileged children from grades 1-6 and is supported by Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
More than 60 children got to experience one of the leading attractions in the region and were thrilled zipping from tree to tree accompanied by our fantastic team of Sky Rangers. Aside from providing a unique and memorable Zipline experience, Flight of the Gibbon is committed to teaching future generations about the flora and fauna in the region. In doing so, Flight of the Gibbon hopes that the knowledge they gained during their experience will provide future life skills and even an interest in pursuing careers in this area.
The trip provided for Suksasongkroh school is just one of many planned for 2018 and such activities form part of a wider program of CSR / conservation projects Flight of the Gibbon is engaged in, which includes reforestation projects, a camera trap project and more.
