Bata Thailand takes initiative at rural school: Recently, Bata Thailand started its “Bata Children’s Program” program to support and develop the sustainable education of children. Mr. Kanitket Pholakanon, the Retail Training Manager at Bata (Thailand), over 70 Bata employees and the local students renovated Pak Klong Chuad Yai School in Bang Bo District, Samutprakarn Province. They refurbished the library, the hospital room, the children’s playground, the courtyard and the garden. Working together created great memories for the students and helped them build a spirit of teamwork. Bata also supplied lunches, socks, shoes, bags and other equipment necessary for both students and teachers. The total investment for this school renovation came to around 200,000 Baht.
