เนื่องจากปัจจุบันนี้ประเทศไทยมีอัตราการเกิดอุบัติเหตุเกิดขึ้นบ่อยครั้ง นับเป็นอันดับต้น ๆ ของทวีปเอเชีย ดังนั้นทางโรงแรมบาราคูด้า พัทยา เอ็มแกลอรี่ บาย โซฟิเทล และ โรงแรมเมอร์เคียว พัทยา ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของการบริจาคโลหิต เพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ที่มีความจำเป็นต้องใช้เลือดไม่ว่าในกรณีใด ๆ ก็ตาม ซึ่งทางโรงแรมในเครือ แอคคอร์ ในพื้นที่ พัทยา จ.ชลบุรี ได้จัดกิจกรรมบริจาคโลหิตทุก ๆ 3 เดือน โดยทางโรงแรมเมอร์เคียว พัทยา โอเชี่ยน รีสอร์ท ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการบริจาคเลือดในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งมีอาสาสมัคร และผู้บริจาคโลหิตประจำ จากโรงแรมบาราคูด้า พัทยา เอ็มแกลอรี่ บาย โซฟิเทล และ โรงแรมเมอร์เคียว พัทยา จากทุกแผนก เข้าร่วมบริจาคโลหิตในวันอังคาร ที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2560
